About this tracker

Our method, our sources, and what we refuse to do

Updated 2026-08-21 (IST)

What this is

Indian IPOs is a free service that tracks every mainboard and SME public share offer in India and explains it in plain English. It is published by kredfit.

For each offer you get the dates and price band, category-wise subscription as bidding progresses, grey-market premium reported across independent trackers, and a readable summary of the company's own offer document. The aim is that five minutes here is enough to understand an offer well enough to make your own decision.

Where the numbers come from

Every figure on this site is traceable. In order of preference:

How the numbers are checked

Figures read out of an offer document are string-matched back against the source text, so a number that cannot be found in the document is flagged rather than published quietly. Automated checks compare the exchange figure against the independent one and flag differences too large for elapsed time to explain.

When a check fails, the affected offer carries a visible warning, and the daily email is suppressed for that day rather than mailing figures our own checks distrust. Everything carries the time it was collected, so you can see how fresh it is.

Why there is no buy or sell call

This is deliberate, and it is the core of how we work. You will not find an apply-or-avoid label, a rating, a score, or a target price anywhere on this site.

Two reasons. First, we are not a SEBI-registered research analyst or investment adviser, and publishing recommendations is regulated work. Second, a verdict would replace your judgement with ours while hiding the reasoning. We would rather give you the same facts a professional would start from, sourced and dated, and let you decide.

Every offer is therefore presented on the same footing, in the same layout, with the same fields.

How we treat grey-market premium

GMP is the number people search for, and it is also the least reliable number we publish, so we handle it carefully rather than refuse it.

It is always labelled unregulated and self-reported, always shown as a range across sources, and never converted into a rupee profit figure. Alongside it we publish the honest base rate from the offers we have tracked all the way to listing: how many actually opened above their issue price, and how far grey-market premium has historically missed the real outcome. Sentiment, not a promise.

Corrections

If a figure here looks wrong, please tell us and we will check it against the source and fix it. Automated collection of other people's data goes wrong sometimes; the useful response is a fast correction, not a claim of perfection.

We also publish, on the front page, a standing list of what the site does not yet show, so the gaps are visible instead of implied.

How this is funded

There is no advertising on this site, no paid placement, and no sponsored coverage. No company can pay to appear here, to be ranked differently, or to have anything removed. The email digest is free.

This service is built by the team behind kredfit, and it exists partly to introduce people to what kredfit does. That is the whole commercial relationship, and it does not touch what we publish about any offer.

Who runs it

The site is maintained by the kredfit editorial team, who are responsible for what is published here.
