Does GMP predict listing gains?
Sometimes it points the right way; often it overstates the size. We measure this directly: across the IPOs we have followed from a GMP quote through to listing, we publish how often the premium got the direction right and by how much it over- or under-stated the actual listing-day gain. It is a rough directional hint at best, never a promise.
