Not on its own. GMP is unregulated, recorded by no exchange, and self-reported by grey-market dealers, so it is a sentiment signal rather than a forecast. The honest test is whether it has actually been right: we track every IPO from its last pre-listing GMP quote to its real listing-day open and publish the hit rate. Treat any single premium loosely.
